It’s nice to see a fun and carefree Steve once in a while. And Alex’s various Alexpressions have been extra excellent in this episode. His V.o.E. are still in full force. The play is in him, not in the words! That’s acting.
This episode made it extra hard to pick a pic. I snapped so many different Alexpressions. Here are a few. Enjoy! ~leiCa
Always standing tall to catch the rainbow.
“Pupuhi ka he’e o kai uli” – Five-0 investigate the murder of a window washer and find that the victim is actually a renowned street artist who may have a politically motivated bounty on his head. Also, Grover and Adam look into the murder of a gambler, and Junior helps his father when they are reminded of his sister’s death, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, March 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“Pupuhi ka he’e o kai uli” is Hawaiian for “The octopus of the deep spews its ink.”)
I really liked 9.17. Kurt Jones and Alex O’Loughlin always do something different with the show. Different angles, different perspectives. And I always liked these time jumps, one reason 2.16 is still one of my favorites. Alex is doing so well in front AND behind the camera with the action, the drama and the emotions. Very well done this time too! His spirit of “Do Less More” does the actors good.
And how awesome was the ‘bullet scene’?
Now have fun, it’s shorter this time, but we didn’t have that much of Steve.
Heart of the show takeover #3.
OK, guys, let’s have a discussion about how accurate a TV show has to be. Let’s not just talk about Five-0, I only use it as a stand-in. Talk about any show you like.
What started this discussion was the wrong naming of two buildings frequently used on the show. Five-0 Headquarters is not located at the Palace, as they have more than once said. But on the other hand no police force, special or not, is located in the building they use as HQ. And even worse 😉 there is no such thing as a Governor’s Task Force. So, does have the show an obligation to use the right names for their fictional HQ? And if they don’t do that, does it bother you?
Awesome fight scene!
Tons of Alexpressions.
For my 2 cents about this episode look at my comment to Cokie’s and Sam’s review. And now have fun. leiCa
Even the foliage is trying to get a peek through the blinds. Leaf it with passion.
9.15 – Ho‘opio ‘ia e ka noho ali‘i a ka ua
As a dangerous hurricane hits Oahu, Five-0 is tasked with protecting El Diablo (Raoul Trujillo), a captured serial killer who is being hunted by an assassin. Also, Tani’s civilian safety check during the storm turns deadly and Rachel and Charlie evacuate to Danny’s house, where the ex-spouses reminisce, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Feb. 15 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
CBS translated Ho‘opio ‘ia e ka noho ali‘i a ka ua to Made prisoner by the reign of the rain
“Ai no i ka ‘ape he mane’o no ko ka nuku” – Tani and Junior go undercover at a gym to track down a deadly batch of steroids that’s killing users, before the drugs claim any more victims. Also, Danny and MacGarrett sub as bodyguards for Danny’s high maintenance ex-mother-in-law, Amanda Savage (Joan Collins), a wildly famous romance novelist with whom he has never gotten along, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, March 8 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“Ai no i ka ‘ape he mane’o no ko ka nuku” is Hawaiian for “He who eats ‘ape is bound to have his mouth itch”)
The review for 9.15 will be posted on Thursday. LeiCa is also working on her Let’s Pic(k) Steve. So, stay tuned.
