  1. So they’ve abandoned the re-romance of Danny and Rachel. Maybe Clair van der Boom didn’t want to do any more episodes, (though she was in hardly any, and they wouldn’t have needed her there physically, anyway.) It’s too much to hope the second story will get the most time, but it’s what I’m looking forward to. Steve and Eddie, Steve and Eddie, Steve and Eddie…….

    1. I am not sure this necessarily means Rachel and Danny are over. We don’t know if the “girl of his dreams” survives/sticks around. This SL might be another catalyst PL uses to have D evaluate his life. Since he’s hardly there anymore, I don’t think we will see/hear much about the girl anymore.
Even if Claire didn’t want to do more episodes (which I doubt), they could easily have her character stick around offscreen with occasional mentions. Would explain D’s absence even better.
That being said, I have zero interest in watching this drama.

But I am so looking forward to seeing Steve taking care of his furry partner. I’m sure Alex will deliver – again.

    2. Me too, I wasn’t going to watch the episode but reading about the storyline of Steve and Eddie and seeing those fantastic pictures of Steve and Eddie, I am going to watch it. I’ll just fast forward the Danny parts or take a snack break. His story is same ol’, same ol’ and boring at that… sorry, just my opinion.

    3. I don’t think they have abandoned Danchel. It looks to me like they are going to drag that relationship through as much drama as they do Steve and Cath. When Danny and Rachel get their HEA, so will McRoll and the show will be over. Endgame for both couples.

The real question mark belongs next to Adams name.

  2. I am only interested in the Eddie part. I am curious to see how a dog exhibits symptoms of PTSD and If Steve will realize he may need to talk to someone about his own problems . In the end, maybe it is Eddie who heals Steve. Could the whole point of this episode be something that simple?

    1. Cokie, are you referring to Jorge (still) being listed as regular cast? He has been throughout all of S10, even though he long left. I don’t think he’s back.

  3. The girl of his dreams??? Bahahahaaaa! Till another married woman or abuse victim crosses his path… And in another ‘Dannoying separated from the team’ storyline the writers made sure that it fits his WFE (woebegone facial expression). Yeah, I wanted to use this word for so long… Woebegone… woebegone…
So let’s forget this, because there’s STEVE AND EDDIE!!!
You know what they say about acting with pets and children, but AOL is the one exception. He is intense in these scenes, just because he let’s them do their thing, is contained but sympathetic, does less, reacts, never overacts in trying to outshine others and therefore he shines. And it helps that he’s got a variety of facial expressions.
    McEddie is Eddiective.
(And I am happy that Eddie recovered so fast from being bitten. I think the Mastiff just licked, or Steve wrestled his fangs out of Eddie. Are Lassie or Rin Tin Tin his ancestors? I mean Eddie’s, Steve’s ancestors are all Saints. You know who Saint Stephen was? He was full of faith and the Holy Spirit and was chosen to feed the forgotten widows of the Greek Jews and the poor. It’s said, that his face looked like that of an angel. 😉 )

    1. Beautifully and perfectly said! I am so glad this is the Steve and Eddie episode because I was going to skip it if it was all about Danny rescuing another damsel in distress/car accident. But the second (and most important) storyline is Steve helping Eddie with his PTSD (those screenshots of Steve and Eddie are awesome) so now I’m looking forward to this episode. Just have to fast forward the Dannoying parts!

  4. Thanks to all ya’ll’s comments, I can stop feeling guilty for caring more about Steve and Eddie than about the potentially fatal car accident. I love those two (STeve and Eddie).

  5. The McEddie should be fabulous. I will be glued to my tv and will probably cry, cos dog.

The other story, the one of the car wreck, featuring the teeny-tiny barky rabid dog on the Show, will be fast-forwarded thru. Unless he dies. I’d watch him die. Last respects and all. I’m kind that way.

  6. What is a potentially fatal car accident anyway? It’s an oxymoron, either it’s fatal or not. The wording they use to describe these episodes does not make sense! It’s a vague statement to draw you in. The Steve and Eddie storyline, though… can’t wait!

    1. Maybe D has a hangnail, or, even worse, his cockatoo combover is in disarray and no phone signal for miles around. The Horror!
Well, D could lose all his limbs, I wouldn’t care, I wouldn’t be sad.
I’m sad because Eddie’s sad. And Eddie will deliver every single emotion. Eddie has facial expressions.

  7. Hmmm, this is not the press release that I saw for an upcoming episode about Eddie, LOL!!

Eddie accidentally eats some Viagra that McGarrett left lying around and then wreaks havoc in the neighborhood, which is rather strange, because Eddie has been neutered. Episode title is “Ki‘eki‘e ka lā‘au a ‘oi inā paakiki ke makani,” Hawaiian for “The tree is tall even if the wind blows hard.”
