Let’s pic(k) Steve!

Episode 9.14

We all have our different opinions. We all have our different visions of life. And that is good. Diversity is good.

But there are moments in life, situations, relations, beliefs, times, you’re either on the right side or on the wrong side of history.

Thank you Hawaii 5-0.

We shall overcome.

Because sometimes we all need McHug.

Your face when you’re eating a salad and someone brings donuts.

Yes. It is he. SuperGrover. Protector of small children and bunny rabbits.

No. I don’t [have children]. But when I do I intend to love them unconditionally for who they are.
→When! Not if.

Binge watching his favorite show, peacefully.

*remembers all his responsibilities*
Continues watching his favorite show, stressfully.

He is surrounded by butter. Butterfingers, butter in his coffee, buttered pancakes. What on earth makes him lean?

If earth was flat, at least we could puke over the edge.

If he gets bored on the internet he grabs his phone to see what the other, smaller internet is up to.

I don’t hate you. I’m just not necessarily excited about your existence.

Have no fear of perfection, they said. You’ll never reach it, they said…

What kind of caveman are you? Using a Nokia?

Beautiful eyescape.

When the right one comes along you can sit in silence.

Lashes out. After work version.

I loved this episode. All the actors did a pretty good job. I especially enjoyed Chi and Alex doing their thing. What a difference the ‘McGrover’ is.

The pace getting quicker was so well done. The kinda frantic camera work, the actors talking faster and faster – all this made the audience feel the urgency. Perfect.

Another thing I noticed was that Jerry and Duke are calling their friend, Steve, ‘Commander’ in public. That’s respect and being professional. Little details but so important.

The ending was wonderful. Shawn Garnett has a wonderful voice.

  1. Well I have to say this was very welcome as I sit inside watching the earth get a coating of white stuff. H 5-0 is my escape when in a deep freeze. I definitely need a McHug. I fear I must repeat myself but you have once more done a great job. Love the salad and donuts pic and I have admired that man’s lashes since Moonlight. Thanks for the bright spot in my snowy day.

  3. Oh honey! One of your best. I love your intro.

Deep in my heart, I do believe, we shall overcome someday.

I loved the theme. I loved McG’s and the whole team’s strident acceptance and defense of all, and celebration of life itself. If only all cops could be like this.

I loved McG’s reference to his someday children, and I love how you acknowledged it. When, not if!

Giggled at the donuts and bunny rabbits. 😁
    Giggled at his show-watching. 😜

I enjoyed every single pic. The perfection was indeed in every single one of em. Your screen shots are beautiful. ☺️
