    1. Would you believe that there is a vocal portion of the fan base that praises the character to the EP? That’s why. It merits a return tweet.

    2. This episode looks harrowing enough to be the whole story for this hour. Lenkov knows all the ways to eff-up this show, and he’s used them
all. We don’t need a secondary story, especially with Hirsch in it. It pays to have friends in high places, I guess. The episodes where he was trying to get in with Kono, just made me cringe !!

  1. I have been waiting patiently for Joe White to return and answer some questions. But why do I have this feeling that we won’t get anything from him that doesn’t confuse things more. Now that we have a S9, they can drag Joe’s part in Doris’ fake death and her relationship to Wo Fat’s father into next year.

I do hope Steve asks him about all the lies he told, even if he doesn’t get get any answers. Since I have always believed that John knew Doris was really alive, maybe his silence is because he doesn’t want to cause Steve any more pain.

It seems that nobody wants to hurt Steve, and yet, everybody does.

  2. Great idea until I read the Hirsch part. I’m willing to bet that part of the story wasn’t Alex’s idea. Why do they have to keep bringing that buffoon back? I had hoped with Kono gone he would be also.
I do hope Steve gets some answers he deserves. Joe owes him.

      1. Oh, come on. Tire-Face is famous! In S1 (?) Steve went all SEAL in the jungle going after a killer. He was wearing camouflage and black paint in his face, thus called tire face.
Now there’s a little green in the mix.

  6. Squee! SuperSEALs plural! Old Steve and new Steve. My heart may not make it. Too bad the storyline will be abbreviated with all the unrelated stuff.

  7. I have a feeling that as with the past 2 season before this one, that this episode would be better a season finale, than the one we will get – I could be wrong fo course.
I kind of wish that the season 6 and season 7 finales never happened. But I am sure it only make sense in my own head of why that would be good. 😀
Looking forward to seeing Steve the SEAL get back to his roots. The idea for the story story came from the heart of the guy who’s devoted his career to Steve for the past 8 years – I really do hope they make the best of it.

  8. Seems that Alex is not into restaurant storylines or whining Rumpelstiltskins storylines or maybe he just hates the sound of cracking crackers. Because Steve’s no Polly. He’s a SEAL.

  9. Oh, btw, I just remembered Alex’ words and there’s actually one guest star I would love to see:
    Barack Obama!
Just ignoring reality, Steve decorated with another medal would be awesome.
