  1. First the new Navy SEAL and Steve will go hand in hand and will hopefully partner up much more. Can’t wait and really Steve will be a natural with the dog there. Nice to see Duke in the opening credits though.

  2. I can’t wait to see Eddie (now that I remember) and I love that he is another broken toy for Steve to care for. I have the feeling this one will not call our SEAL names. It will be interesting to see how the new guy fits in. Not all SEALs are the same, but at least he knows what Steve is capable of.

  3. Looking forward to this episode to see the start of the relationship of Steve and Eddie lets hope for lots of scene with them over season 8. Eddie is going to be injured as well. This ep could turn out to be one of my fav in season 8.

I was looking forward to meeting Junior and all the scene with Steve but after what I read from Peter that Junior follows all the rules and goes by the book he will properly end up being friends with Danny I hope that dose not happen.

The new girl Tani is the one going to break all the rules and be a bad ass and have more in common with Steve. Also during this season there is a character called Koa Rey which I think is related to Tani and is her brother who turns out bad and guest what Tani will have to keep getting him out of trouble and that could be her story this season.

  4. I think that AOL will be as natural and comfortable around Eddie as he is with the children. And since dogs (and people) respond to love and affection in a positive manner, Steve will have a partner who gives total trust and loyalty—-one who has no agenda but to adore his master, including hiding and cherishing smelly socks.

I am not worried about Junior. Remember that Grover once referred to the Task Force as McGarrett and his merry men of do whatever the hell you want. He saw the merits of following Steve’s instincts and orders and quickly became one of the merry men himself. I think that Junior will become that same kind of team member. I am not so sure of Tani. If she is rogue and challenges McGarrett in any way because she thinks she is too badass to follow orders, then he will reign her in right away. He can’t let her become another Danny. So it is unlikely that the two new members will have the same personalities but will hopefully contribute something valuable to the team. Thank goodness we still have Grover because he is the only grownup Steve has to talk to there. ( I still think Grover will find Junior and Tani hiding in the broom closet getting to know each other better.)

It looks like 807 will not be a special 175th Episode. It is already filmed and they wrapping up 808 soon. Someone wasn’t available for that. So (D)annoying for the fans not to get a special for 175.

Does it seem to anyone else that they are filming very quickly this season? Is the episode order 22 or 23? I still haven’t found that out.

So Harry and Eddie are the two guys I am most looking forward to so far.

    1. Wow y’all people are really in the know. I had not read any of PL’s description of Jr. And I knew nothing of this shorter season. They may not even know about renewal before they wrap the season?

  5. It is no secret that in 8:03 McG becomes chummy with a former drug sniffing police dog named Eddie, which is supposedly “retired.” There is some sob story about how the dog lost its owner or whatever. I think the truth is, the dog has been kicked out of the police force because it failed to do its duty detecting drugs at the airport or wherever it worked (this is my sarcastic idea).

In 8:04 this dog will snoop around McGarrett’s neighbor’s house and find that the neighbors are into smoking weed. The dog will eat a bunch of treats that the neighbor made for >their< dog (a female). As a result, Eddie and the neighbor's dog will get totally stoned and will do it … ahem … "doggie style."

McGarrett will see this and be horrified, because it will give him all sorts of flashbacks to life with Catherine, how great they were as a couple, etc., etc. Almost the entire episode will consist of flashbacks from Cath's appearance in earlier shows. This is sort of OK — at least it will bring Cath back to the show in some capacity!!

By the way, one really annoying thing if you do a Google search for "dog hawaii five-0" is that is brings up all sorts of references to Dog the Bounty Hunter, ugh!!

  6. At this point the “elite task force” is so watered down with oddballs and quirks, I think the dog should become the new task force leader. Tho I’m still pissed they got a boy dog playing a girl. atPLoser hates women soooo much he won’t even cast a girl dog. 🙄

    1. I have already got the ace writing team of C/H/Q Paper Products (see http://fiveohomepage.com/chq.htm) working on the scenario for 8.05.

Because Danno can’t stand not being the center of attention (a copyrighted trope for Five-Zero), he will also get a dog. Of course, it will be a “Dannoying” Danno-like dog which can’t stop fucking yapping and carrying on.

McGarrett’s dog Eddie is pretty laid-back, but Danno’s dog will start to drive Eddie crazy, making him all hyper.

As a result, they will have to send both dogs to a special “dog retreat” where they can undergo therapy.

      1. No to the Doggie therapy. Eddie will come back smelling of Doggie treats and the fans who ship McDanno Doggie will get all bent out of shape. We must have pity on them. They have been through so much. Their ships never sail.
