“E mālama pono” – MacGarrett and Danny finally track down the missing uranium, which has been used to build a bomb located in the middle of the jungle. Now, they must carefully extract the unstable explosive through treacherous terrain before it detonates, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Feb. 24 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Singer Darius Rucker guest stars as Desmond Abati, the bomb maker. Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith guest composed multiple cues for this episode.
(“E mālama pono” is Hawaiian for “Handle with Care”)
Can you already hear the bitching? Yeah, me too. LOL
But it could be a great episode. Let’s hope for the best. Looking forward to seeing more of Claire Forlani.
Yes, this might get kinda unrealistic, but I love these pictures. This has the potential for a great episode. Steve in the jungle, all sweaty, wet and dirty? What else do you need? 😉

Sorry I’m totally naive. Why bitching?

Because Danny’s in the jungle, and he hates the jungle. And because he’s always bitching about everything.

Got it. I’m going to go with your sentiment that it has real possibility as a great eppy. Let’s hope not too much of the other; they’ve been pretty tame this year in comparison to recent prior exchanges! thank you.

But Sam: Some people think all that is so super cute and sexy. The Bromance is just as fresh today as it was 7 years ago—- Sweet and definitely not mean spirited. (If only Danny had odd bangs, questionable taste in clothing, a bad aim and no self respect, he’d be…… perfect.)

Well, it has Flippa, Charlie and Sang Min… I will withhold judgement…

Well it hàs Nahele, yay! And I like Alicia, so we’ll see what crazy she got going on this time. And Darius Rucker is not a bad thing.
McG walking around with that stoopid SnoopDog battery necklace seems ridiculous, and I doubt he can even rap, but we’ll see….

All I know is my husband will be rolling his eyes and laughing about the car battery protecting anyone from radiation. That’s dipping into Scorpion territory

I predict bitching and hand waving. Lots of hand waving.
Oh, and a lot of chuckling from me. the BATTERY! Oh, SHOW……

Are they building a raft or a sledge to move the truck? I can’t tell what they are doing because It looks like the pictures may be out of order. (MacGyver would have used Lincoln Logs).

mamayorkie I think they are putting planks of wood in the water to drive the truck on to the other side. I hope this is a good episode plus I want to know why Alicia Brown is back and what she is up to. We have Nahele in back to back episodes 17 and 18.

Thanks, Mandy. Will those two planks hold the weight of the truck? Imagine if the truck gets stuck in the mud with the bomb on board and Danny bitching and screaming that it was all Steve’s idea.
Also, since Alicia is back, I am thinking they are setting her up as a recurring character for next year. I hope so.
Having Nahele in two episodes in a row makes me wonder if they will deal with his future. Hope he heads for Annapolis. So much potential for this character.

I hope they are setting her up for a recurring character for next year. I see some are already not liking her because she may become to close with Steve that might interfere with Danny. I like her Character but not as a LI but some one to help the team. I like your idea about Nahele going to Annapolis that would be great for the character and a story line for Steve.

Mandy: I don’t think they need to worry about the show setting her up as a love interest for McG. More likely she will be a professional relationship. Besides, all their energy is taken up with hating Cath. They can’t pat their heads and rub their tunnies at the same time, can they?

That was TUMMIES.

The abC would love her because she’s not Cath. They will jump right off that McLynn ship to the McAlicia ship. They switch ships faster than Jack Sparrow can drink a bottle of rum. I like Alicia but I think she has major issues and I’m not sure if she will be a help to the team or just get them in more trouble. I guess we will find out more after these epi air.

@ Leni – I agree with everything you just said.

I think Alicia’s issues have issues. She’s a boatload of issues. I think she’s interesting, don’t get me wrong…

And yet between her and the Psychiatrist, she’s the sane one. LOL!!!

Leni: In the spirit of sinking ships, will the dirty bomb story make Danny re-assess his failed marriage with Rachel and will we get a mention of the character leading to her return? Are they also endgame? This seems to be this season’s theme. After all, she never lied to him, hurt him or left him. Totally forgivable.

In case anyone thinks I’m giving Danny a pass here, I do remember that he:
1. Admitted to taking a romantic look at his dead partner, Grace (before she was dead, of course) when he was having marital problems with Rachel.
2. He was as much to blame by having an affair with Rachel who was married to Stan and having unprotected sex which had a by product called Charley.
3. Whined like he was always the victim when he was the architect of his own misery.

Love Nahele in this episode and also I like Alicia. So for me those are very good news. Using the battery to protect himself from radiation is not very smart. But having Steve on screen in almost every minute of the episode will be something I’ll be looking forward to it.

Sounds interesting but I will keep my opinion to myself for now. I have no desire to insult anyone.

Baby girl, you couldn’t insult or offend anyone if you tried. You are beloved here, and always polite and kind. ❤

Sending you Mama hugs. I always love hearing what you have to say because you make sense, say it all so nicely and make this a better place just by being here. Virtual chocolate covered strawberries coming your way!

But it still looks like it will be a great episode regardless!

Hmm, I don’t know. This looks indeed interesting and I don’t mind the battery. Better than nothing, lol. And I see Steve large and in charge like always. But I can’t help myself, I am hearing Dannoying looking at these pics. And that is not good. Not good at all. I’ve seen a little sneak peek from Lenkov and that did not make it better. He was never and never will be elite task force material… (teehee <— hint hint, oh I am so sneaky…)
And now I'll watch the last episode. Finally. I've heard it has McChin. Makes me smile! Nearly as good as McGrover.

LOL, you’re pretty good at hinting, huh? 😉

Hee! Y’all know that the commentary here is better than, and the best reason to actually watch, the stoopid episodes, right? Case in point, ladies… ❤

Ugh, I’ve just seen the clips. I hope that it is not just the tip of the iceberg…
Hopefully that was all of the b/tching and whining and complaining we will get…
Yeah.
Right.
