Duane “Dog” Chapman returns as himself and George Takei returns as Chin’s Uncle Choi.

  1. really? another kidnapping? seems like a daily occurence for them… at least they should be experts in handling them by now 😉 even those in different countries…

  2. Yes really another kidnapping can the writers not think of anything else. Apart from this I am looking forward to this episode. We should get lots of action from Steve and Chin plus this is the first half of a cliff hanger and the story continues after Christmas in ep 7.12. Plus they are celebrating Chin Birthday as well. So dose this mean that Sara get kidnapped from her relatives in Mexico by some bad drug people in Mexico. Plus we have a few characters Sang Min, Chin’s uncle played by George Takei.

  3. 1. Kidnapping. Apparently the ONLY crime in Hawaii. And so prevalent that even officers of the law and their families are incessant victims.

    2. I want George Takei to have a damn scene with McG. George wrote a lovely ode to Alex and his acting abilities right about when 5-0 first started. I want them in a scene together!!!!

    3. Hoping for lots of McG after several McG lites.

    4. Otherwise I don’t care. 😉

  4. I think they use the word “kidnapped” too loosely sometimes. Getting a drop on McG in your own house isn’t kid napping, it is a capture. I am still trying to figure out why Pua will be used. Or Sang Min for that matter. I am just holding onto the fact that we get some Steve dressed up again…..sigh.

  5. This Press Release must have been written on April 1st.

I will not believe such brilliant, innovative writers would do another kidnapping .

I look forward to a “HA Ha, we gotcha” moment when the episode airs. Then, won’t we all look foolish for believing such an obvious prank pulled on the fandom?

They’d never do this to us, never, never, never, never………….. ” I do believe. I do believe. I do believe”. (Santa).

  6. I hope by saying ‘Five-0’ they mean ‘Steve and Chin’ racing to Mexico, because Steve and Chin!!! Worried Chin and PosiSteve would be awesome. The rest can stay in Hawaii and solve cases under Lou’s orders. You need calm professionels and a highly trained leader, no negative nancys or scaredy cats.
If this is gonna happen and there is finally a George Takei (I love love love this man. Look at his tweets, he’s great!) scene together with Alex (and Grace is right, I remember his words about AOL, lots of praise and very true words!) then I will gladly ignore Pua, this Dog guy or the ridiculousness of another kidnapping.
PosiSteve SEAL McGarrett is all I am hoping for.

  7. My theory is that the writers have a big box with a slot in, (kind of like a ballot box). Slips of paper with plot ideas written on them are dropped into it. Some bastard, (probably one of those accused of hacking the elections), figured out how to replace all the little slips that have actual creative plots written on them with slips that say ‘kidnapping’. So, unless they decide to throw away that box and start over, I fear we are doomed to an entire season of kidnappings. This doesn’t have to be all bad though. Perhaps we can suggest that there be another box filled with the names of potential kidnapees? We could all write to TPTB and submit our lists of those those we don’t mind having disappear for awhile – maybe for several episodes. I’d even be willing to send it on perforated paper to make the process more efficient. Once the slips are drawn, the show’s writers who, other than the liver and the kidnapping thing seem to be doing a decent job, can put their talents to coming up with creative rescues. As for those cast members who’ve been deemed the victims; there’s no rule that says we have to get them back . . . is there? In any case, first on my list would be one Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman. Ugh.
