“Waiwai” – McGarrett and Five-0 must track down a Russian spy who has stolen a flash drive containing classified NSA information that puts the life of a member of their Ohana at risk. Also, McGarrett finally learns why Catherine left him, and Abby continues to conceal her actual mission from Chin and Five-0, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, March 11 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.

  1.
I read somewhere that Abby is working for the feds to bring down Five 0 and the Ingo R character is actually a federal prosecutor working to bring them down. As well as notice his last name is Coughlin. And that is the name of the Robert Knepper character of the IA cop that arrested Chin is Coughlin as it would not be surprising if both were related.
But really can’t wait to see what Catherine has been up to as who knows if she will be appearing or if she will be finally gone to give Steve a bit closure.

Do not know if the spoiler thing of the tag works but put it there for a reason.

  2. Oh I hope that the show handles this right but I do have that queasy feeling when it comes to how they handle Catherine since they left her in Afghanistan. I will have to keep my fingers crossed. As for the spoiler idea, why would the federal government go all secretive and not just go to the Governor with their complaint? Denning has never been thrilled with some of their actions and he certainly could have shut them down in a heartbeat if he wanted to. He can’t overrule the Feds. What Abby is up to is another thing. All I know is I am ready for her to leave at any time.

  3. I don’t think Michelle is listed as cast in this ep, so I think any reference to Cath is gonna be vague and brief, a la Shelburne of old. Too little too late and too dragged out to the point we may no longer care when and if the SL ever comes to a head… 🙄

      1. I meant eventually. Yeah she just left, but I can see them dragging this out, with the occasional mention, for years or until the final ep of Show, whichever comes first. Lenkov is the worst at dramatic pacing. The. Worst. Spoilers often mean no more than a passing mention, tho he always implies a shocking plot twist. So we stay disappointed cos he promises big and delivers tiny. Just a typical dude, huh? 😆 Anyway, for all the talk, he gives too little, too infrequently, for waaaaay too long, on almost all the cliffie kinds of running plots. Like, what y’all reckon Nahale’s up to this year? And he even admitted he’s given little thought to WoDaddy…making McG’s big torture ep kinda meaningless, in spite of Alex’s tour de force performance.

        1. That is very true and what angers me. His lack of interest in his own story lines, as he himself said, renders even an ep like 5.07 meaningless. And there are a few episodes that deserve way better.
And you’re right he doesn’t seem to know the concept of a dramatic time line. His drama stuff is slipping into the ridiculous category way too easily and too often.

  4. I haven’t disliked Abby but I just think she’s another character thrown at a storyline the way they do with everything else. Haphazard, uncoordinated, and either not followed through or taking away from what they should be focusing on. ie. she’s just more of the same. 😎

  5. Are we dancing yet? I guess it’s the McRoll turn to get a crumb thrown out. I think the FBI is still angry at Steve and Danny for sending them on a wild goose chase so Matt could escape. Abby? I did wonder why she and Chin went from taking things very slowly to light speed in their hotel room romp. They had no reason to bring Cath back for 525, 601, 602, or 603 unless PL is setting up her return. Someone, please tell me this. Did a segment of the the fandom erupt with this last bit of news? Did they hold a memorial service for McLynn and threaten not to watch H50 again? PL knows just how to play this fandom. Got to give him credit for knowing just how to fan the flames. Lynn is gone- we’ll hear a reference here and there. She was just rebound girl. Good as a “convenience” but not good enough for love. Even she knew his head wasn’t in the game. I feel sorry for the character. I don’t want to see anyone used.

But Cath? We’ll hear about her in 617, Steve will get royally pissed at her, then start to worry and finally go find her.

Let it be so. Let it be so.

  6. Guess what? I heard for the first time ever a radio commercial promoting Hawaii Five-0 on the commute home tonight. Other than the CBS website and the channel, I’ve never heard it promoted so I was shocked.
