Rest in Peace

Yesterday afternoon my mom passed away.

She was a wonderful, loving person. She enjoyed her life for 81 years, filled with love, happiness and joy.

My mom died as she always hoped for; in a matter of hours, without any suffering, and with all her family by her side.

Mom, I will miss. Love you.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. We are never to old to not have the love, support and comfort of our parents. Treasure the memories. You have your own angel watching over you now. RIP Mom. 😢💔😘

  2. What a beautiful picture. I know that the last couple of days have been such a whirlwind of emotion. As people have said, you are proof that she was a wonderful person. And from your stories you have told me about her, I know you two enjoyed each others company.
Much love my friend. Wish there was something I could do.

  3. What a lovely picture of your mom! I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve traveled down this road with the loss of my father and it is beyond painful. My thoughts are with you and your family.

  4. Please know that our Moms are never really gone from us. We hear them on a bright sunny day when we have those silent conversations in our heads as we share our good news and feel their arms in the middle of the night when we cannot sleep.

  5. There’s nothing that can be said to make your loss less painful but please know that many people are thinking of you. I hope over time your pain will be replaced by only the most loving and happy of memories. Your mother’s legacy to us all is you. I thank her for that.

  6. There are no words to give you true comfort on a day like today. May whatever faith or belief system you have bring you some comfort, may your days be filled with loved ones for support, comfort and many, many hugs.

Like GNP said, I bet she was an amazing woman…she raised one too. *hugs*

  7. Sam, i’m very sorry for your loss. This must be the most difficult moment of your life and there are no enough words to comfort you. Despite this huge lost, you must find some peace because she didn’t suffer. It happend liked she wished. I know that you will deeply miss her but i hope the memories, love and happiness that you two shared all this years fill a little your heart and soul. Hugs.

  8. Sam, I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. That’s a lovely picture you shared. Keep the memories of her in the sunshine in your heart. My thoughts are with you.

  9. I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing a picture; she looks like a great woman (and not anywhere near 81). I am not good at expressing this type of thing in words. I lost my mom a few years ago, and there are still moments of wanting to share things with her, and realizin that I can’t, at least right now in this world. I will be praying for you and your family. I know that the prayers of my friends gave me great strength during what could have been a much more difficult time.

  10. Oh, Sweety, I am so sorry for your loss. I know your mom will be dearly missed. Ingo and I we are expressing our deepest sympathy to you and your family at this very difficult and sad time. If you need anything, please let us know.

  11. Oh Sam, just read this and I am so sorry for your loss. These are sad times for you and your family. Losing a parent is always hard, you are never prepared.
The picture of your mom is beautiful! She looks like a caring, loving and lovable woman. An elder woman with young eyes! And she did a fine job! *hugs*

  12. I am so sorry for your loss. How wonderful that you both shared this fangirl experience. I hope that your blogging can distract you a little at least. Take care of yourself.

  13. While working my slow way through the sites, I stumbled into your post here!
I am so sorry for your loss and wish you strength for the time being hard!
